Med en internationell glesbygdsnerv har Lyy skapat ett sound och sväng där musiken talar och berättelser ljuder. Traditionell och nyskriven folkmusik förenas med pop, rock och tunggung i en varm och humörseggande legering. 2010 kom gruppens kritikerrosade debutalbum och deras andra skiva ”två” släpptes på Ransätersstämman 2012.
